Therapeutic/Wilderness
Having a child in crisis is one of those most heart wrenching trials a parent can endure. We offer warm, nurturing support for the family and the child during these difficult times. We locate appropriate residential treatment programs, therapeutic boarding schools, and/or therapeutic wilderness programs as well as other specialized programs that can address the student’s individual social/emotional needs. We work with a myriad of other professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, psychologist, social workers, therapists and/or teachers, following your child’s progress once they are placed. We work with students with all types of struggles such as those stemming from emotional or psychological origins (personality disorders, eating disorders, depression, OCD, bipolar, adoption), to those with drug and alcohol abuse or addictions, as well as with those making poor personal choices.
